Venue Seating Wizard is maintained in the open by one person. Every channel below reaches the maintainer directly — there is no support queue in between.

Bugs and feature requests

The fastest route is a GitHub issue at github.com/doodledood/seats-app/issues. Issues are public, which means the answer helps the next person with the same problem. A good report says what you imported, what you expected the optimizer to do, and what it did instead. If the arrangement itself looks wrong, exporting the CSV and attaching it makes the problem reproducible in seconds.

Questions about using the tool

Most questions are answered in the documentation, which covers the guests and tables CSV formats, how groups and cohesion strength interact, how seating preferences are scored, and what the penalty number in the interface actually means. The developer portal covers the machine-readable surface: the OpenAPI description, the read-only JSON endpoints, and the file formats an agent needs in order to prepare a valid guest list.

Privacy and data requests

Venue Seating Wizard has no backend and stores no guest data, so there is nothing to export or delete on request: everything you enter stays in your own browser. Questions about the analytics the site does collect are answered in the privacy policy, and can be raised through any of the channels above.
